Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect glass for light and medium-structured red wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description
The "San Luigi" Dogliani DOCG from the Marziano Abbona winery is a red that represents, like the most precious of banners, the fresh and drinkable soul of Piedmont. The great protagonist is the Dolcetto grape, a variety that has been grown in the region since the 1600s. In the 1960s, the founder of the company, Celso Abbona, courageously decided to plant a Dolcetto stock in Dogliani, we are in the heart of the Langhe. A choice kissed by luck. Since 1978, the vineyard, located in the hamlet of San Luigi, has housed rows that stretch as far as the eye can see and color the rolling hills of the Langhe red. We are in the heart of the best crus in the area and the company know-how has been able to make the most of these temperate and sunny areas, where the silt of which the soil is rich alternates with sand and clay. The grapes are grown without pesticides and the harvest is entirely manual. The utmost respect for the raw material is also evident during the winemaking process, in which the primary objective is to respect the times and the varietal characteristics typical of Dolcetto. Thanks to the skilful rest in steel, the San Luigi Dogliani DOCG is endowed with an easy and flowing drinkability, especially in the first five years of life.
