The Sangiovese di Romagna DOC Riserva Longiano 10th Year Limited Edition is a full-bodied and intense red wine from the Villa Venti winery. It is obtained from the vinification of only Sangiovese grapes, a dark grape variety, typical of central Italy. On the plot facing south-east, the vines are cultivated with the ancient sapling system and enjoy favorable conditions, thanks to the presence of red clay and sand in the substrate. At the end of September the grapes undergo a careful selection process in the vineyard in view of being transported to the cellar. Here the grapes are destemmed and left to ferment spontaneously inside large steel containers. The refinement involves an initial rest of one year in oak tonneaux and a subsequent passage of at least two years in the bottle.
