Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description

The Morellino di Scansano DOCG Santa Maria wine from the prestigious historic cellar of the Florentine Marchesi de' Frescobaldi is a red fruit from the hillside vineyards of a territory, that of Grosseto, particularly suited to viticulture. The one where this important label is born is a Morellino di Scansano DOCG wine-growing area, one of the most representative of the Bel Paese. A red of considerable interest, which has obtained recognition from the AIS and Veronelli guides. The result of a blend composed mainly of Sangiovese and to a lesser extent Cabernet Sauvignon, the Morellino di Scansano DOCG Santa Maria testifies to the enological art of a cellar that for generations has dedicated itself to making only prestigious wines. A wine born in 2000 which is the result of a fermentation of the grapes with maceration in steel and a subsequent refinement of 10 months in the same containers, after which it is bottled but not marketed; before being placed on the market, the wine rests in glass for another 2 months. The result is an intense, aromatic red with a fresh sip. A very pleasant and perfectly balanced label. To try.
