'Sassi Neri' Conero Riserva DOCG Fattoria Le Terrazze 2018

The red Sassi Neri Conero Riserva DOC is one of the most representative wines of the Fattoria Le Terrazze winery in the Marche region, a historic production pearl of the Numana hills, where the Terni family has been making Montepulciano grapes since 1882. This label comes from the vinification of 100% Montepulciano grapes, the fruit of vineyards grown in the Conero Park, just over a kilometer from the coast. This red takes shape from a meticulous harvest, which chooses only and exclusively selected grapes with a perfect degree of ripeness. After harvesting, the bunches are transferred to the cellar, where they undergo a fermentation process with maceration in steel. Subsequently, the Sassi Neri Conero Riserva DOC ages in French oak barrels for a period of about 24 months, after which the wine is bottled and further aged in glass for 6 months. The finished product is a very intense label. A soft red, with a full and full-bodied sip, which emerges for its long persistence.
