'Satrico' Lazio IGT Casale del Giglio 2022

Characterized by a great olfactory intensity, the Satrico Lazio IGT is produced by the Casale del Giglio winery. It is a blend of white berried grapes made up of 40% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Chardonnay and 20% Trebbiano Giallo. The vineyards are located in the province of Latina near the village Le Ferriere and the name of the wine is linked to the ancient city of Satricum. The winery specializes in the production of wines from non-native grapes that are transplanted in the Agro Pontino area, where they also benefit from the influence of the nearby Tyrrhenian Sea. The harvest is carried out in the first phase of maturation so that the freshness is kept alive. Subsequently the pressing takes place with the soft method and the vinification in steel containers at a controlled temperature. Bottling takes place at the beginning of the following year. Satrico Lazio IGT is a ready-to-drink wine, very pleasant, balanced, dry and clean at the right point.
