'Sauternes 1er Cru' Sauternes AOC Chateau Clos Haut-Peyraguey 1998

The Clos Haut Peyraguey sweet wine from the Château Lafaurie Peyraguey winery is made from Sauvignon blanc and Semillon grapes. The vineyards are located in the Bordeaux region and are characterized by a particular climate, where the morning mists favor the creation of a particular mold on the bunches. The latter, left to dry on the plants, allow the sugar level to increase and make the grapes suitable for the production of sweet wine. This winery has been involved for years in the production of quality wines and is a point of reference in the sector. To produce the Clos Haut Peyraguey wine, only the bunches that have reached the right degree of sugar are selected. The short fermentation precedes the maturation period in the barrel and then goes into the bottle. The wine obtained is fresh and fragrant and perfect to accompany a dinner with friends or to be enjoyed at the end of a meal.
