The hills around the municipality of Aldino, in the province of Bolzano, are the place where the Sauvignon grapes are grown, which make it possible to make the Sauvignon white wine from the Franz Haas winery. Backed by a very long experience, dating back to 1880, this winery produces top products from the South Tyrol area. Specifically, the Sauvignon vine grows at about 850 meters above sea level on soil rich in mineral salts and in combination with the excellent climatic conditions it provides fine grapes. Experience and dedication to the work are added to a production technique followed with scruple and meticulousness. Immediately after the harvest, the grapes are softly pressed and left to ferment both in steel tanks and in barriques and then fermented directly on the lees. The final refinement in the bottle enhances the characteristics of this excellent white wine which is refined and has an aftertaste of spices and fruit.
