Glass
It is the perfect goblet for white wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile and this is possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

Turmhof Sauvignon Blanc Alto Adige/Südtirol DOC is a white wine with a strong personality, produced by the Tiefenbrunner winery. The basis of the label is 100% pure Sauvignon Blanc, a grape that grows on the hilly vineyards of Cortaccia and Aica di Fiè. The soil is rich in calcareous substances and gravel, perfect for an optimal development of the bunches. An excellent sun exposure and a marked temperature range complete the characteristics of the terroir. The best Sauvignon Blanc grapes harvested during the harvest are pressed and left to macerate for almost 10 hours. Fermentation takes place in large stainless steel tanks and is followed by aging for 6 months, half in oak barrels and the remaining 50% in steel tanks. Turmhof Sauvignon Blanc Alto Adige/Südtirol DOC is a white wine that can be consumed immediately and is very pleasant, fresh, elegant, herbaceous. A classy wine. However, it is possible to let it rest in the cellar for 2 or 3 years where it will develop very pleasant tertiary notes.
