The Bolgheri Rosato Scalabrone Guado al Tasso Antinori is a rosé wine that interprets the evocative beauty of the places where it is born with class. Made with grapes grown on the slopes of the green hills surrounding the medieval village of Bolgheri, in the heart of the Maremma, it combines 3 fine vines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. Among the castles of the Guado al Tasso estate, first owned by the Gherardesca nobles, and then by the Antinori marquises, the berries ripen under the influence of the hot Tuscan sun and give an elixir that is hard to forget. The vinification of the 3 types of grapes takes place separately. It is only after the accurate phases of crushing, maceration and fermentation that the musts, at the peak of their emission of aromatic notes, are assembled to create a unique and perfectly recognizable blend. Intriguing in taste, the Guado al Tasso Bolgheri Rosato Scalabrone DOC wine also fascinates in its name, recalling the famous Scalabrone bandit who in 1800 attacked boats in the Bolgheri canal port.
