'Schulz' Riesling delle Venezie IGT Ronco del Gelso 2019

Schulz Riesling Delle Venezie IGT is a white wine produced by the Ronco del Gelso winery, one of the most faithful interpreters of the Friulian denomination. It is obtained from the single-variety vinification of Riesling grapes, a variety that originally comes from the cold Alsatian lands and has found the perfect context in which to develop in the Cormons area. In the heart of the Collio, the mineral profile of the substrate and the microclimate ensure the vine the ideal conditions for luxuriant growth right up to the harvest. When they reach maturity, the bunches are carefully harvested by hand. The grapes undergo a quick withering in the loft and are then pressed as a whole bunch. This is followed by fermentation at low temperatures in steel tanks, where the wine remains for the refinement phase on the lees which lasts about 10 months. Schulz Riesling Delle Venezie IGT is perfect to be enjoyed as soon as it is bottled, as well as after a couple of years resting in the cellar.
