Gewürztraminer Selida from the renowned South Tyrolean winery Tramin is a terroir white that well represents the winemaking tradition of Südtirol. A very interesting label, emblem of the culture of the South Tyrolean people. This is indicated by the name of the wine, Selida, which in the Ladin language means small farm, therefore a name that is a tribute to one's own language and to the ancient, ever-present culture of small farmers. This special white is the highest and most faithful expression of an autochthonous vine, Gewürztraminer, capable of best conveying the winemaking tradition of the area. Gewürztraminer Selida is the result of the vinification of pure Gewürztraminer grapes. The strictly hand-operated harvest is followed by crushing and a short maceration, after which the grapes are softly pressed, followed by fermentation in steel. Finally the wine is aged for at least 6 months in the same containers. The result is a particularly aromatic white, intense on the nose and on the palate and with a fresh sip. A wine that stands out for its long persistence and which presents a good evolution, thanks to which it can rest in the cellar with excellent results for a few years. for pairings, wink at oriental cuisine.
