'Sentiero delle Gerle' Etna Bianco DOC Mandrarossa 2020

Sentiero delle Gerle Etna Bianco DOC is a wine with a refined minerality produced by Mandrarossa , a company that excels in the enhancement of viticulture on the slopes of the Sicilian volcano. The vineyards owned by the winery, located on the south-east slope, enjoy perfect exposure and a geological substrate that is unique in the world. This wine is obtained from the single-variety vinification of Carricante grapes, an autochthonous vine of the area, which are rigorously harvested by hand in the second half of September, then delicately pressed and pressed. A first fermentation involves only a small fraction of the must, to which selected yeasts are added, necessary to complete the entire fermentation process for another 30 days. The wine is left to rest in steel tanks for a period which varies between 12 and 15 months depending on the vintage. The Sentiero delle Gerle Etna Bianco DOC is perfect to drink right away, but can benefit from further rest in the cellar.
