'Serious Red' Refosco Venezia Giulia IGT Villa Job 2019

The Serious Red Refosco Venezia Giulia IGT is a wine produced at the Villa Job winery. The main feature of the company is the particular attention to the environment and biodiversity. The grapes come from the Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso vines, grown at an altitude of 90 meters on soils rich in marl, clay and silt. All the working phases are carried out following the principles of organic farming, without the use of chemicals. After the manual harvest and the selection of the best bunches, we continue with the spontaneous alcoholic fermentation using indigenous yeasts. The next phase is that of maceration on the skins which takes place in open tonneaux. The refinement takes place for 5 months in cement tanks, 7 in Slavonian barrels and 2 in the bottle. The Serious Red Refosco Venezia Giulia IGT is a soft and velvety wine, perfect for immediate drinking, but can evolve in the cellar for a few years.
