The Barolo DOCG Serradenari MeGA Cru of the Serradenari & Giulia Negri winery is obtained using only fine Nebbiolo grapes. The vineyards are located around the municipality of La Morra, and precisely in the Serradenari Cru, where the very particular climate, characterized by strong temperature variations between day and night, as well as a constant breeze ensure optimal ripening of the grapes. The activity of the winery has distinguished itself over the course of a few years for the production of unique wines, an expression of the territory it belongs to. For the production of Barolo DOCG Serradenari MeGA Cru wine, a meticulous production method is followed. The harvest is slightly delayed to ensure that the bunches reach the right ripeness. Fermentation takes place in truncated conical steel vats and then moves on to long maturation in oak barrels and tonneaux, and then proceeds to aging in glass. The result is a full-bodied and robust wine, balanced and easy to drink, with a brilliant garnet colour, refined aromas of violet, ginger and vanilla, ample, elegant, with finely crafted and already quite smooth tannins. Great persistence and pleasantness. Definitely a long-lived wine. The 1.5 liter magnum format enhances this potential.
