'Sgarzon Cilindrica' Teroldego Vineyards of the Dolomites IGT Foradori 2020

Teroldego Sgarzon Cilindrica Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT is a refined red wine made by the Trentino Foradori winery. It is obtained from the exclusive vinification of grapes of the native Teroldego variety which are grown on the owned vineyards in Mezzolombardo. Here the soil of alluvial origin, with high sand components, forms the ideal basis for vines that grow luxuriantly, also thanks to the careful work of the company. After destemming, the grapes are left to macerate on the skins for eight months inside a cylindrical container, also mentioned on the label. It is the tinaja, made of porous clay, which has become a symbol of the cellar's unique "stylistic code". During the ageing, the wine remains in these vats with their ancestral charm for about a year. The Teroldego Sgarzon Cilindrica Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT is immediately excellent, even if it can reserve very pleasant sensations even after a few years of rest in the cellar.
