The Single Malt Scotch Whiskey Balmenach from the prestigious Gordon & MacPhail distillery is obtained using raw materials of exceptional quality. In fact, only carefully selected barley malt is chosen among the different varieties and the distillation takes place with the use of extremely pure water from the sources present on the Scottish hills. The distillation tradition of this company is very ancient and dates back to the end of the 19th century, when it began its activity as a drug store, with the sale of selected whiskeys. Particular care and attention is applied in the production of Balmenach whiskey. Immediately after maceration and distillation in copper stills, we move on to the most important phase: ageing. This takes place initially in ex Sherry barrels and subsequently in ex Bourbon barrels which give this distillate unique and inimitable characteristics.
