The Mortlach Single Malt Scotch Whiskey from the renowned Gordon & MacPhail distillery is produced using only quality raw materials. The barley malt, in fact, is selected with particular attention, while water from very pure sources is used for the distillation, further filtered on granite rocks. The activity of this company began way back in 1895 when the founders combined the tradition of selling food with that of distillates, becoming over time a point of reference in the sector. The production phase of the Mortlach Single Malt Scotch Whiskey is followed with great scrupulousness. The initial phase of maceration is followed by distillation in large copper stills. Then follows the fundamental phase, the long aging for 15 years, in large oak barrels that previously contained Sherry. The whiskey obtained is soft and enveloping, to be enjoyed pure or slightly lengthened, in moments of pleasant relaxation in company.
