From a young Welsh distillery, the Single Malt Welsh Whiskey Legend was born, a whiskey that represents one of the most appreciated and best-selling products from its area. The Penderyn Distillery is the first ever distillery in Wales and takes its name from the homonymous village in which it is located, but despite its few years of activity, it has been awarded several times for the quality of their products, due to the particular process of distillation. In fact, for the Single Malt Welsh Whiskey Legend, a single copper alembic system was used, surmounted by a distillation column: a distillation system unique in the world, in the production of single malts. Subsequently, American oak barrels are used for maturation, with the particularity of using those first for Bouron and in the second phase in barriques for Madeira, so as to be able to give a unique flavor to this great whisky.
