'Somereto' Chardonnay Alto Adige DOC Andrian 2022

Along the slopes of the Val d'Adige, in the area between Bolzano and Merano, the 80 hectares of vineyards of the Andrian Cantina Cooperative extend, made up of 70 members who, with great attention to detail and great respect for the territory and the grapes, allow to obtain the Somereto Chardonnay Alto Adige DOC , a wine that best represents the peculiarities of the territory. Cultivated for centuries in Alto Adige, Chardonnay by the Somereto winery is produced in an area with perfect characteristics, on calcareous soils of dolomitic origin and ventilated thanks to the breeze coming from the mountain ranges. The harvest is very accurate and done in compliance with the rhythms of nature, the fermentation is then carried out in steel tanks and takes place at a controlled temperature, for the last 6 months the wine ages in steel on the lees and can be immediately consumed but it is possible to leave it rest in the cellar for up to 4 years, maintaining its characteristics and fresh flavour. Pleasant, fresh and perfectly balanced, Somereto Chardonnay Alto Adige DOC best expresses its vocation as a typical mountain wine.
