Description
Sorè Rosato Lazio PGI is a wine produced at the Falesco Fam. Cotarella winery in Montefiascone. For about 40 years, the company has been one of the best known and most appreciated realities in the area. The grapes come from the Merlot vines for 92% and Aleatico for the remaining part, located on soils of sandy and volcanic origin at 250 meters above sea level. The training systems are spurred cordon and Guyot. After the harvest and the selection of the best grapes, we proceed with the destemming and cold maceration for 2 hours for the Merlot and 1 hour for the Aleatico, a procedure useful for better fixing the aromas and enhancing the varietal characteristics. Subsequently, the 12-day alcoholic fermentation is carried out in steel tanks where the refinement also takes place in contact with the fine lees. Finally, the blending, bottling and marketing are carried out. Sorè Rosato Lazio PGI is an intense and delicate wine, ideal for immediate tasting.
