Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Ballon flute
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for classic method sparkling wines (or champenoise) and champagne: being narrow, with a pointed bottom, it favors the development of bubbles (perlage), avoiding their dispersion; the body of this glass is a little wider than a classic flute and favors the perception of more intense and complex aromas.

Description

The Cuvee Brut Etna from the Terrazze dell'Etna winery is produced in the province of Catania, in Randazzo. Native vines such as the typical Nerello Mascalese are grown on the owned lands, as well as international vines such as Pinot Noir, Petit Verdot and Chardonnay from which this sparkling white wine originates. The soils on which they grow are volcanic in nature and therefore rich in microelements such as potassium, iron and magnesium capable of giving the grapes particular organoleptic qualities; in addition, the ventilated climate with strong temperature variations favors the right balance between sugars and acidity. The harvest takes place at the beginning of September to preserve the acidity; followed by the vinification in white and the refinement for three years with fermentation in the bottle thanks to the introduction of specific yeasts. The result is a Cuvee Brut Etna with a creamy foam and fine bubbles, which presents itself with an elegant, persistent and intense aroma. The taste is balanced, soft, sapid and with good minerality. It goes well with light lunches but is also good as an aperitif.
