Sparkling Franciacorta DOCG Brut Enrico Gatti

Spumante Franciacorta DOCG Brut is produced by the Enrico Gatti winery in Brescia. It is obtained from the exclusive vinification of Chardonnay grapes, an international white berried variety that has found in these lands the ideal environment to develop. The owned plots are located near Erbusco, about 200 meters above sea level. During the harvest, only the healthiest and ripest bunches pass the selection and are collected for transport to the cellar. Here the grapes are softly pressed and placed in steel tanks for low-temperature fermentation. Consistent with the provisions of the Classic Method, the aging on the lees takes place during the second fermentation in the bottle. After two years the disgorgement takes place, followed by the addition of a little liquer d'expédition. Spumante Franciacorta DOCG Brut is perfect to taste right away, even if it can reserve pleasant surprises after 1 or 2 years of further evolution.
