Description
The Spumante Metodo Classico Extra Brut is produced in the Bruno Giacosa cellar in Neive. Located in the Langhe wine district, the cellar has always been one of the best expressions of the area. The grapes come from 100% Pinot Noir vines, cultivated on mainly sandy and clayey soils, where the temperate and cold climate favors the correct ripening of the plants. After the manual harvest and the selection of the best bunches, we proceed with the fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 15 days. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle following the principles of the Classic Method. The refinement of the wine obtained is carried out on the lees for about 60 months, a period thanks to which the wine acquires greater richness and complexity. The Spumante Metodo Classico Extra Brut is an elegant and soft wine, ideal to be tasted immediately, but it can rest in the cellar for about 3 years, if correctly stored.
