The Spumante Metodo Classico VSQ Extra Brut is made by the Abbona Marziano winery, a cellar that enhances the Langhe terroir in an innovative way. This sparkling wine is obtained from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, two international varieties that are grown on the property's vineyards in Dogliani. Among the rows the work is inspired by principles of sustainability and culminates with the careful selection of the best bunches during the harvest. Upon arrival in the cellar, the grapes are delicately pressed and then placed to ferment in large steel tanks at a monitored temperature. According to the provisions of the Classic Method, the aging on the lees takes place during the second fermentation in the bottle. After a long period of rest, the dosing liquid is not added during the disgorgement phase before being marketed. Perfect right from the start, Spumante Metodo Classico VSQ Extra Brut can hold pleasant surprises if carefully stored for 2 or 3 years.
