'Stein' Sauvignon Alto Adige/South Tyrol DOC Nalles Margreid 2021

Stein Sauvignon Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC is a white wine produced by the Nals Margreid winery, located near Nalles. This label is the result of the single-variety vinification of Sauvignon grapes, an international variety that has found the perfect environment to develop on the slopes of the Dolomites. The plots boast a substrate composed largely of calcareous chalk, with a good percentage of porphyry. These are elements that allow the vines to produce grapes with a marked finesse up until the time of manual harvesting. Once deposited in the cellar, the grapes are subjected to pressing, to then ferment spontaneously inside steel tanks. In the same containers the wine is left to rest during the subsequent refinement of an average duration of 5 months. Stein Sauvignon Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC is an excellent white to be enjoyed immediately, as well as after a further evolution of a couple of years in the cellar.
