'Stoan' Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC Tramin 2021

The Stoan white wine from the Tramin winery is obtained from a skilful blend of 65% Chardonnay grapes, 20% Sauvignon, 10% Pinot Blanc and the remaining 5% Gewürztraminer. The soils rich in mineral salts of the South Tyrolean hills combined with the good climatic conditions allow the different vines to grow optimally and to obtain high quality grapes. Thanks to a very long experience, this winery manages to combine artisan traditions, respect for the territory and modernity, producing excellent wines. The production cycle of the Stoan involves a rigorously hand-picked harvest during which only the best bunches are selected. After a soft pressing, the must ferments, first in an alcoholic and then malolactic way, in large wooden barrels where it is then refined on its lees. In this way an elegant and refined wine is obtained, a typical expression of Alto Adige, slightly aromatic. Excellent wine.
