'Awe' Bolgheri Rosso DOC Campo alle Comete 2021

Stupore Bolgheri Rosso DOC is an intense and structured red wine produced by Campo alle Comete , a winery that fully represents the uniqueness of the Bolgheri area. The proprietary vines find on the hills of Castagneto Carducci the ideal conditions to reach optimal ripeness. To make this red wine, the company uses a blend that is made up of four international vines: Merlot, present for 50%, Cabernet Sauvignon (30%) and finally small percentages of Syrah and Petit Verdot. In this blend, these varieties produce an extraordinary final result, thanks also to the excellence of the work done in the vineyard. After careful harvesting, each variety is vinified separately. Following assembly, the wine ages for about 12 months in oak barriques and tonneaux and a further 6 months in the bottle. It follows that Stupore Bolgheri Rosso DOC is perfect to be enjoyed as soon as it is bottled, but can evolve up to 3 or 4 years if carefully stored.
