'Supergiulia' Pecorino Terre Aquilane IGT Cataldi Madonna 2019

Supergiulia Pecorino Terre Aquilane IGT is an elegant white wine produced by the renowned Abruzzo winery Cataldi Madonna . It is obtained from the vinification of Pecorino grapes only, an autochthonous vine rediscovered in recent decades and capable of expressing itself excellently in the Macerone area. The vines reach fifty years of age and rise just under 400 meters above sea level. The ripening of the bunches is followed by the manual harvest which provides for a careful selection of the grapes in the vineyard. After a further check of the grapes arrived in the cellar, the vinification begins with the destemming and continues with the alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks. Even for the subsequent refinement, the company relies on steel tanks, where the wine rests on the fine lees for at least a year until bottling. Supergiulia Pecorino Terre Aquilane IGT is a white capable of surprising right away, as well as following a rigorous conservation in the cellar for 2 or 3 years.
