Sylvaner Alto Adige Valle Isarco DOC is a white wine produced by Cantina Valle Isarco , a very renowned winery in the South Tyrolean area. It is obtained from the single-variety vinification of Sylvaner grapes, a vine that arrived from the German lands at the beginning of the twentieth century. In the Isarco Valley this white berried variety can now be considered local, as it has found the ideal climatic conditions to thrive. The alluvial soils, mainly gravel and limestone, are perfect for the cultivation of these grapes, which are rigorously harvested by hand. To enhance the freshness and aroma of the vine, the cellar favors the exclusive use of steel tanks, where the alcoholic fermentation takes place first at a controlled temperature and then the rapid aging on the noble lees. Sylvaner Alto Adige Valle Isarco DOC is a fresh, fragrant, intriguing white wine that is ideally appreciated as soon as it is bottled or at the latest after a couple of years, with careful rest in the cellar.
