'Syrae' Syrah Vineyards of the Dolomites IGT Pravis 2018

Syrae Syrah Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT is an elegant and fruity red wine produced by the Trentino winery Pravis , which with this label chooses to focus on a grape variety that is not very common in the denomination. It is obtained from the vinification of only grapes of the "international" Syrah variety, grown near the northern shore of Lake Garda. On the clay-predominant soils, the vines find the nourishment necessary to grow vigorously, while the sun exposure and the lake breezes favor the full ripening of the grapes. Once the manual harvest has been completed, the bunches are transported to the cellar where the winemaking processes begin. The grapes ferment in stainless steel at strictly controlled temperatures, and then age for about a year and a half in fine French oak barriques. Syrae Syrah Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT is a red that can be appreciated shortly after bottling, but also after 3-4 years of further aging.
