Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

The Talò Malvasia Nera IGP Salento from Cantina San Marzano is part of the Talò line, the flagship of the winery and one of the most appreciated in the province of Taranto and Puglia. The winery was born in 1962 from the union of 19 winemakers who shared the same ideals and the same passion for tradition and for their territory and is today among the first producers in Salento. This red wine is born, as the name suggests, from black Malvasia grapes, a vine native to ancient Greece and now widespread in many areas of the Mediterranean. The always mild climate of Puglia and the clayey soil are fundamental ingredients for grapes of the highest quality and the achievement of perfect ripening. After the harvest, a first maceration is carried out at a controlled temperature and then the fermentation with selected yeasts. Aging takes place in French oak barriques for 6 months. The result is a very full-bodied and robust red wine, with an intense ruby color. On the nose complex aromas attributable to ripe red fruits and spices. On the palate it expresses all its robust body, with a pleasantly soft attack and long persistence.
