Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description

Salento, the heel of Italy which has always been a land dedicated to viticulture: here the Talò Salice Salentino DOP produced by Cantine San Marzano sees the light. In the heart of the strip of land bathed by the two seas, the Ionian and the Adriatic, about sixty years ago small winemakers gathered to join forces and achieve excellence. Today we can say that their dream has come true, a shower of awards has consecrated the Cantine San Marzano as an elite company in the Apulian winemaking scene. And the Talò Salice Salentino DOP is a worthy representative of the cellar, obtained for 85% from Negroamaro grapes and the remaining 15% from Malvasia nera di Brindisi grapes, a red wine for any meal. After vinification it is left to mature in oak barrels for 6 months until it reaches that aristocratic status which characterizes it in the glass. It is a wine that does not set before eight years, even if it reaches its maximum expression already 3 years after bottling.
