It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
The Taurasi DOCG of the Feudi di San Gregorio winery is the result of the Aglianico grapes vinified in purity of the vineyards grown in the municipalities authorized by the DOCG Taurasi disciplinary. An exceptional red wine, a perfect synthesis of the Irpinia winemaking tradition, Aglianico is a particularly widespread grape variety throughout Campania. Often referred to as the Barolo of the South, this Aglianico stands out for its finesse and its complexity, it is no coincidence that it has received awards, including the 4 Bibenda bunches, which defined the Taurasi DOCG as a wine of great level and outstanding value . This Taurasi is the fruit of grapes harvested and selected rigorously by hand, followed by a vinification process in steel, after which the wine is left to mature for 18 months in French oak barriques, before being bottled. However, before being placed on the market, Taurasi DOCG still ages for 9 months in the bottle. The result is an intense red, with a good structure, warm and balanced. Already ready today, it is extraordinary left to rest in the cellar, where it undoubtedly refines and improves over the years. Long-lived wine.
