Description

Terre di San Leonardo, produced by the renowned winery of the same name, is an excellence of Trentino. A red wine with character obtained from the careful selection of 50% Merlot grapes, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and 25% Cabernet Franc grapes. It is a red with a strong and elegant personality, pleasant on the palate and perfect at the table on all occasions. Its grapes are processed with a particular fermentation and maceration process since the pomace undergoes repeated daily punching down for a rather long period of time. Aging takes place in large Slavonian oak barrels and barriques, then the wine is left to rest for 6 months in the bottle before being marketed. Its production is entrusted to Tenuta San Leonardo which has been working for decades with experience and passion in the wine sector, offering its customers wines of great taste and quality. Terre di San Leonardo so dry, soft and balanced is appreciated by the best connoisseurs and sommeliers, thanks also to its particular and elegant tannic texture.
