Terre di San Leonardo, produced by the renowned winery of the same name, is an excellence of Trentino. A red wine with character obtained from the careful selection of 50% Merlot grapes, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and 25% Cabernet Franc grapes. It is a red with a strong and elegant personality, pleasant on the palate and perfect at the table on all occasions. Its grapes are processed with a particular fermentation and maceration process since the pomace undergoes repeated daily punching down for a rather long period of time. Aging takes place in large Slavonian oak barrels and barriques, then the wine is left to rest for 6 months in the bottle before being marketed.
