'Torcicoda' Primitivo Tormaresca Antinori 2020

The Primitivo Torcicoda red wine from the Tormaresca Antinori winery is obtained using exclusively Primitivo grapes. The vineyards are located in the Castel del Monte areas where the fertility of the soil and continuous exposure to the sun ensure the production of excellent bunches. For about 20 years this winery has been carrying out its work in the vineyard with dedication and passion, enhancing the products of the territory and perfectly combining tradition and innovation. This ensures the production of elegant wines, typical of the Apulian region. The production of Torcicoda Primitivo involves a harvest that begins when the bunches are very ripe, followed first by maceration in stainless steel tanks and then by alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature. Maturation takes place in French and Hungarian oak barrels before aging in the bottle. In this way a full-bodied and robust wine is obtained, of excellent drinkability and persistence, slightly tannic and which lends itself to being tasted even in a few years.
