The Torrette Superiore red wine from the Les Cretes winery is produced from a balanced blend of Petit Rouge grapes for 70%, Mayolet, Cornalin and Fumin each respectively for 10%. This winery has been operating for about 30 years in the heart of Valle d'Aosta, enhancing the area and seeking the right blend of tradition and technological innovation. The vineyards grow on the hills of Vigne Les Toules di Sarre, in the province of Aosta, where the strong temperature variations enrich the bunches with very intense aromas. Much care and attention is paid to the production process which begins with a hand-picked harvest in mid-October followed by fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The subsequent refinement phase takes place partly in steel and partly directly in the bottle. In the end, a full-bodied and enveloping wine is obtained, characterized by light fruity and mineral salts hints. It is ideal to accompany a dinner with friends.
