Aromatic Traminer Friuli Colli Orientali DOC Zorzettig 2021

The Traminer Aromatico Friuli Colli Orientali DOC is a very fragrant white wine, made by the Zorzettig winery, a production reality capable of enhancing the characteristics of a very suitable territory. It is obtained from the single-variety vinification of Gewurztraminer grapes grown in the heart of the appellation. The plots are located near Cividale in the province of Udine. On the Friuli hills the vines find the ideal environment to thrive, thanks to the rich mineral composition of the soil and the particularly favorable microclimate. When fully ripe, the bunches are selected by hand and transported to the cellar, where the vinification involves pressing and alcoholic fermentation in steel. In the same vats the wine is left to refine until the spring following the harvest. Traminer Aromatico Friuli Colli Orientali DOC is a white wine that can be appreciated immediately, as well as after a further evolution of a couple of years.
