'Trebez' Venezia Giulia IGT Dario Princic 2017

Trebez Venezia Giulia IGT is a white wine made by the Dario Princic winery , a reality that faithfully interprets the local winemaking tradition. The label is the result of a blend that includes both native and international vines, namely Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon. The vines are grown organically on the property's vineyards, which boast marly and sand-rich substrates. Once the ideal level of ripeness has been reached, the ripest bunches are carefully hand-picked and transported to the cellar. Here the grapes are left to ferment spontaneously inside wooden vats. This phase, which includes maceration on the skins, lasts a week for Pinot Grigio and almost a month for Chardonnay and Sauvignon. The long aging involves a passage of three and a half years in oak barrels. Perfect right away, Trebez Venezia Giulia IGT can amaze even after 4 or 5 years of rest in the cellar.
