Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description

Valbianchera Barbera d'Alba DOC is a fine red signed by the Almondo Giovanni winery, a renowned reality in the Langhe area. The label is obtained from the single-variety vinification of grapes belonging to the Barbera vine. At an altitude of about 350 meters on clayey-limestone soil, eighty-year-old vines grow. Thanks to the characteristics of the soil and perfect sun exposure, the grapes reach optimal ripeness. When this happens, a manual harvest begins, the objective of which is to select only the best bunches. Once in the cellar, the grapes are left to macerate on the skins for about ten days. The subsequent refinement lasts eighteen months and takes place in large non-toasted Slavonian oak barrels. Valbianchera Barbera d'Alba DOC is one of the most extraordinary reds of this land, thanks to its substantial body and the persistence of sensory nuances, which make it ideal for further evolution in the cellar as well as to accompany refined and structured dishes.
