Ideal for Charmat method sparkling wines: being narrow, with a pointed bottom, this glass favors the development of bubbles (perlage), avoiding their dispersion. The narrow opening helps the concentration of the perfumes.

Description

The Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut from the Nino Franco winery is obtained using only Glera grapes. This vine is typical of the Treviso area, and in particular of Valdobbiadene, where it grows perfectly thanks to the favorable climatic conditions and the clayey soils rich in mineral salts. Passion for the vineyard and for work, combined with respect for traditions and the search for innovations, are the basis of the success of this winery which produces wines of excellence and which is a point of reference for the entire area. Even the production process is studied in detail. After the harvest, which takes place only when the bunches have reached maturity and a high sugar content, a soft pressing is performed. We then move on to the fermentation which takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, according to the Charmat Method, and to a subsequent refinement in the bottle. The prosecco thus obtained is refined and elegant, with persistent bubbles. It is characterized by a very intense aromatic bouquet and a delicate fruity aftertaste, very varietal.
