In fact, in the upper subzone of Cartizze, the grapes can ripen in a gentle way. Precisely the gradual ripening, characteristic of the grapes of this sparkling wine, ensures that the harvest takes place later than usual, in order to obtain grapes full of flavour. To produce this fine sparkling wine, the Glera vine grapes are vinified alone, adopting production methods with high quality standards. This is why the Foss Marai label has become synonymous with quality, above all by virtue of the skilful ability to transform one's own grapes.
