"Langhe Doc Valle dell'Olmo" , made in purity with Favorita grapes, an autochthonous Piedmontese vine, is a fruity white wine produced by the Abbona winery ; historic company in the Langhe, founded in 1970 by Marziano and his son Celso, whose goal was to enhance the territory and its hidden qualities. The management has remained in the family over the years, passing from one generation to the next, without ever losing the ancient traditions of the past; nowadays the Marziano Abbona winery uses its experience by inserting it in a modern and innovative context. The vineyards extend for about 52 hectares between the municipalities of Dogliani, Monforte d'Alba and Novello; their processing and cultivation takes place in a totally sustainable way, respecting the environment and the rhythms of nature. The Favorita "Langhe Doc Valle dell'Olmo" derives from grapes grown in the lands of San Luigi a Dogliani, where the sandy soil of the hills has allowed excellent growth of the vineyard. The " Langhe Doc Valle dell'Olmo" wine ferments in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, then moves on to refinement for about three months and finally in the bottle, where it rests before being sold; Marziano Abbona Favorita "Valle dell'Olmo" presents itself with a pale straw yellow color, a delicate nose with floral references. The taste is fresh, sapid and certainly ready to drink, with an excellent balance.
