It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description
Valpolicella Classico is a DOC red wine, a great classic from the Veneto region, a renowned land of wines with Denomination of Controlled Origin. This red is produced by Allegrini starting from a combination typical of the area, made with Corvina Veronese grapes, Rondinella grapes and Molinara grapes. The vines from which Valpolicella Classico is made are planted in the province of Verona, more precisely in the hilly area of Fumane di Valpolicella; a land with an ancient wine-growing vocation which, thanks to its morphological and climatic characteristics, has always given excellent wines. The grapes from which this wine is produced are grown with the Trentino pergola method and with the simple guyot method. Cultivated on a clayey and calcareous soil, the vines from which the grapes to make this red are produced have an average age of 33 years. After the harvest, the berries undergo a 9-day fermentation in steel tanks. The process takes place at a controlled temperature between 25 °C and 35 °C; after which it will be the turn of the refinement which will take place entirely in steel, then the wine will be bottled and for another 2 months it will be followed by refinement in the bottle. The result is an engaging wine, very fresh and elegant.
