Valpolicella DOC Corte Giara - Allegrini 2020

Valpolicella DOC Corte Giara is a classic red wine from the Allegrini winery , a large Italian company, owned by the family of the same name since the 16th century. Today the estate is in the hands of the latest generation of the Allegrinis who, with dedication and experience, guide this winery towards the future, using not only traditional techniques, but also more modern innovations. The Allegrini company includes one hundred hectares of vineyards located in the province of Verona on the hills of Sant'Ambrogio, San Pietro in Cariano and Fumane; here the soil is mainly calcareous with a good level of acidity. The cellar also adopts practices aimed at respecting the environment and the surrounding ecosystems. This wine is made with typical red berried vines of the area, such as Corvina Veronese and Rondinella; its fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Finally, the Corte Giara Valpolicella DOC wine ages for a few months, always in steel tanks, resulting in it being fresh and particularly balanced.
