It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description
Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore DOC is produced by the Albino Armani winery. For the blend, a blend of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella is used, grown in the old Marano vineyards, in the classic terraces bordered by the marogne. We are in one of the most versatile areas of the peninsula: the vineyards are located at an altitude between 300 and 500 meters above sea level. The soil, of volcanic origin, is rich in calcareous deposits and poor in clay. The climate is mild but influenced by the southern currents coming from Lake Garda. The vinification is very particular: the Valpolicella wine of the vintage is decanted onto the fresh pomace from the Amarone racking. After a few punching downs necessary to enrich the aromatic range, the wine matures and ages for a few months in large wooden barrels. Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore DOC Albino Armani is a ready-to-drink red which, however, lends itself to an interesting evolution of 2 or 3 years in the cellar.
