'Varvàra' Bolgheri Rosso DOC Castello di Bolgheri 2021

Bolgheri Rosso 'Varvàra' is a prestigious red wine produced by the Castello di Bolgheri company. Located in the marvelous and homonymous Tuscan village, in Maremma, Castello di Bolgheri is a producer who manages to make the most of an extremely suitable land where red wines are produced which represent one of the excellences of Italian enology. The name of this wine originates from the Baroness Varvàra Wrangler, who was the wife of Count Ugolino della Gherardesca. Bolgheri Rosso 'Varvàra' is a red that strongly recalls the tradition of the Tuscan territory that Castello di Bolgheri began producing starting from the 2005 harvest. The objective with which this wine was born is clear right away: the will of the company is to create a more immediate wine, easier to drink, but which at the same time contains those elegant and enveloping features that characterize the denomination. This wine is excellent when tasted young, but it can be left to rest peacefully in the cellar for up to 4/5 years, where it can develop a beautiful and complex evolution.
