Veltliner Alto Adige DOC Koefererhof 2019

Veltliner Alto Adige DOC is a fresh and fragrant white wine, made by the South Tyrolean winery Koefererhof . It is obtained from the vinification of Grüner Veltliner grapes, a vine that originally comes from Germany and adapts perfectly to the climate of the Dolomites. The vineyards are located near Bressanone, more precisely in the municipality of Varna at about 700 meters above sea level. When they reach the ideal level of ripeness, the best bunches are harvested by hand for transport to the cellar. Here the grapes undergo a short maceration on the skins. This is followed by alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks with rigorous temperature monitoring. The subsequent refinement takes place in the same containers, which includes a rest of 6 months on the fine lees. Veltliner Alto Adige DOC is a white that expresses itself at its best shortly after bottling, when all its elegant varietal scents emerge.
