Verduzzo Secco Friuli Colli Orientali DOC I Clivi 2016

Verduzzo Secco Friuli Colli Orientali DOC is a white wine produced by the I Clivi winery, a reality capable of enhancing the terroir of reference, on the border with Slovenia. It is the result of the exclusive vinification of Verduzzo grapes, a native vine that can give life to truly exciting sweet or dry wines. In the vineyards owned there are even 70-year-old plants that enjoy the remarkable benefits deriving from the south-east exposure of these wonderful hills. In the cellar, the whole bunches are subjected to a delicate pressing. After decanting, spontaneous fermentation with only indigenous yeasts takes place in steel tanks. The same material is preferred for the containers intended for ageing, a phase which takes place on the fine lees and lasts up to eight months. Verduzzo Secco Friuli Colli Orientali DOC can be appreciated immediately, as well as after 3-4 years of rest in the cellar.
