'Vernacius Solemnis' Lago di Caldaro Classico Superiore Laimburg 2019

Vernacius Solemnis Lago di Caldaro DOC Classico Superiore is an elegant red wine made by the Laimburg winery. This label is the result of the pure vinification of Schiava grapes, an autochthonous variety that is characterized by its unmistakable colors and soft aromas. On the Olleiten plot, located about 330 meters above sea level, the vines benefit greatly from the fertility of the soils of morainic origin. Among the rows, the skilful work allows the delicate balance of the ecosystem to be preserved until the time of harvest with manual selection of the ripe grapes. Once in the cellar, the grapes are subjected to pressing and then to alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks. The wine ages on the lees for about six months in large oak barrels. Vernacius Solemnis Lago di Caldaro DOC Classico Superiore is a ready-to-drink red, to be tasted immediately or a few years after bottling to fully savor its varietal notes.
