Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured white wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description
Vigna di Gabri Donnafugata is a white wine classified as Sicilia DOC white. It was born in south-western Sicily, on the Contessa Entellina estate owned by the agricultural company Donnafugata. The "Gabri" who gives the wine its name is Gabriella Anca Rallo, founder of Donnafugata together with her husband, who wanted and perfected it. Donnafugata's Vigna di Gabri is produced mainly using Ansonica grapes, one of the oldest grape varieties grown in Sicily. These grapes are blended for 50% with grapes from other vines: Catarratto, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier. The harvest takes place over several weeks since the vines have different ripening periods, starting in the first ten days of August and ending in mid-September. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel while the refinement begins in the tank (and for a small amount in barriques) and continues in the bottle. The result is a fine and elegant wine, very versatile, which brings everyone together.
